Proud to be the UK’s supplier of the Koru Freedom® system product range, including the Freedom60 Syringe Infusion System. This easy-to-use, lightweight, portable pump is for large doses or recurring infusions at home. Used for the infusion of liquid medications, including subcutaneous immunoglobulin and intravenous antibiotics. Can accommodate all dosing ranges, but is suggested for patients with a dosage of 35ml or greater.
The FREEDOM60 Syringe Infusion System gives patients who need regular infusions the convenience of administering infusions at home, at a time that works for them.
Proud to be the UK’s supplier of the Koru Freedom® system product range, including the FreedomEdge Syringe Infusion System. This easy-to-use, portable, compact infusion solution is designed to accommodate BD 20 and 30ml syringes and Hizentra 20ml prefilled syringes. Requiring no batteries or electricity, allowing for complete flexibility and self-sufficiency for patients. Ideal for smaller, often repeated applications. Complete with integrated safety measures, the FreedomEdge operates at a constant safe pressure, which automatically decreases the flow rate if there is an increase in resistance during infusion.
Specifically designed for subcutaneous administration, the Koru High-Flo Subcutaneous Safety Needle Sets provide greater comfort and safety. These subQ needle sets ensure dependable flow rates and are designed to work alongside the Freedom Infusion Pumps and the Precision Flow Rate Tubing as part of the Freedom Infusion System. Available in various set options to fit patients’ needs. The back-cut needle tip minimises scarring and ensures less tissue trauma, providing a more comfortable infusion delivery.
The Koru Precision Flow Rate Tubing™ is compatible with the Freedom60 and FreedomEdge syringe infusion systems. The Precision Flow Rate Tubing controls the infusion rate, providing accurate delivery that responds in real time to a patient’s needs. Designed for consistent flow rates, it provides safe and accurate delivery of medication with no risk of free-flow, bolus, or overdose. An integrated Luer disc also helps prevent contamination, and the Freedom pumps are designed not to work without the disc present.
KORU’s Precision™ Flow Rate Controller* gives patients the ability to adjust the flow rate of their infusion device. This flexibility allows for infusion of medications that require different flow rates over time, without the inconvenience of tubing changes. Flow rates up to 300 ml per site per hour. Patients can infuse HyQvia®. Emergency slide clamp to stop flow immediately, for example, allows for infusions such as HyQvia(R) when titration is required, and has an integrated slide stop-clamp for enhanced safety.
Amdel Medical’s arterial fixation device is an award-winning cannula dressing designed by practitioners to address the risks associated with arterial cannulas and arterial catheters. This large polyethylene adhesive pad with windows is designed to be applied over an arterial catheter line to securely hold it in place.
Arterial catheters are one of the most common monitoring tools available in Intensive Therapy Units (ITUs) and are also widely used in theatre, High Dependency Units (HDUs), and coronary care units. However, as an invasive device, it has the potential to cause many serious complications such as haemorrhage, necrosis, and infection. This innovative fixation device solves these problems and makes the AC procedure monitoring more intuitive for the practitioner, helping to reduce clinical risk.
The device has stronger adhesion to the skin, due to its large contact area and higher-strength adhesive, in order to reduce the chance of the line being accidentally removed. In accordance with existing colour coding systems for arterial equipment, it also clearly marked as an arterial line in red to indicate the potential risks.

The innovative Needle-Free Arterial Non-Injectable Connector (NIC), designed by Amdel Medical, is a standard arterial connector with a safety valve built into the device. It is designed to promote patient safety by eliminating inadvertent injection into the arterial line, which can lead to serious consequences and complications, and reducing the potential for infection. The NIC is connected to the sampling port of an arterial line, through which blood gas samples can be collected.

The Left Radial Support Sling was developed by a senior cardiac radiographer to overcome various problems associated with left radial access coronary angiography. The radial support sling supports a patient's left arm, so a surgeon can gain the access required for a left radial approach without leaning over the patient, and prevents the patient’s arm from slipping. The support sling provides comfort for both the patient and operator and prevents the alternative femoral artery approach occurring, which requires greater recovery time and more complications.
